Taken on July 18, 2023 in Scarth, Manitoba while chasing a Severe Thunderstorm Warned storm from the Saskatchewan Border to Hartney, Manitoba in South Western Manitoba. I almost didn't go chasing this day as the models were inconsistent and a lot of conditions needed to come together in just the right way. But with the model just before lunch showing favorable conditions. I wasn't alone in that decision either, Storm Chasers from across the Canadian Prairies converged on this region and waited for this storm. We would all be rewarded with one of the best looking Supercells of the season so far. While this storm didn't produce a Tornado, it was very photogenic. At the end of the day with over 750km traveled over 12 hours this was a day that will never be forgotten for this photographer.
